David Humm

Managing Director & Company Owner

David’s role is to oversee the Day to Day activities of the Business, provide a Technical backup to the Staff and Technicians, experience and certification has been gained in Oil, Gas, LPG, Solar and Heat pump design and installation as well as extensive knowledge within the Home Heating market.

David’s Experience spans over 30 years within the industry, having spent the last 25 years within Senior Management, 13 of which has been with Shelford Heating, and  instrumental in Creating a one stop Heating Company with the emphasis placed upon Reducing Carbon Emissions and Improving Energy Savings in the Home.

David is Gas Safe Registered,  Apprentice trained as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer, Qualified (QCF Mapped) in the design and application of Renewable energy systems such as Biomass (pellet) and Air Source Heat Pumps.

Angela Humm

Communications and Administration – Director and Company Owner

Angela joined the company in 2013 to head up and oversee our HR Department, Customer Service Communication, and Health and Safety which will involve the development of our systems and procedures – ensuring we deliver on Service and Quality to our clients. Angela will work closely with Kerry and her Team bringing her wealth of experience as an experience Administrator and Secretary with a focus on Customer Service having spent a number of Year in Local Authority in Customer Services. 

Kerry Fowler

Services Manager

We are pleased to say that Kerry will be going on Maternity Leave from 28th February 2018 and Returning to us in March 2019, please send any emails to during this period if you have direct email access to Kerry as her email account will be suspended.

We all at Shelford Heating wish Kerry and Bradley all the happiness for the next phase of their lives. 


Kerry joined the Company in late 2002, and is responsible for our procedures and to ensure they are followed, Kerry is responsible for Managing the Customer Service Advisors, whom in turn ensure that the Technician Deliver a First Class Service.

Kerry over the years has learnt many aspects of the Business and is instrumental in many of our systems, procedures and also keeps an eye on David and is very much the second in command.  

Whether taking calls from Customers with a broken Boiler to calling or writing to our many customers to book the Annual Service. Kerry is here to help and will do all that she can to answer any queries you have, or assist with your concerns.

Charlotte Harlock

Installation Surveyor

Charlotte has returned to Shelford Heating after a long absence and is a proud mother of two, Charlotte started her career as an Installer gaining her qualification NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing and Heating, Charlotte also gained the OFTEC Apprentice of the Year Award and achieved high levels of recognition at College. We look forward to Charlotte getting her feet back under the table.

Jo Amey

Customer Service Supervisor

Jo has extensive Customer Service experience having worked in the Heating and Service industry for 17 Years, and her main responsibility is the administration of our coordination of our Service and Repair Technicians as well as support to the Bathroom Installation Division. Jo has the ability to draw up designs and obtain Quotations from Suppliers and assist with the coordination of the works being completed.


Ashley Griggs

Parts Manager

Ashley has gained knowledge within the Parts and Product Purchase and Sales having worked and trained with a very respectable and UK wide Plumbing and Heating Distribution Company, Ashley will be responsible for Purchasing of all our Goods from our Suppliers, ensuring we obtain the best possible service that can then be passed to our Customers through efficiency in obtaining and subsequent dispatch to our Service/Breakdown Technicians and our Installation Teams. 

Beccy Westwood

Customer Service Advisior

We welcome Beccy to our Team of Advisers, a new Challenge and lots to learn for Beccy – which we are sure will come naturally and with greater confidence as you develop into your role supporting Jo and Angela in dealing with Customer requests. Beccy and Amy as new members will we are sure do their best to assist all customers.


Amy Wilson

Amy along with Beccy has recently joined, and is getting to grips with our systems and procedures, it will be challenging along the way and lots to learn. Welcome aboard Amy and keep up the good work. Amy will be supporting Jo and Angela in dealing with customer enquiries from initial contact through to satisfactory outcomes.

Our Service and Repair Technicians have many years of experience in the diagnosis and rectification of Boiler Faults as well as extensive knowledge of the the varied Boiler manufacturers used in the UK.

All our Technicians our registered with either OFTEC, Gas Safe Register, or Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors.

Installation Technicians

Our Installation Teams consist of Qualified and Apprentice Trained NVQ level 2 and 3 Plumbing and Heating Technicians. Our more senior team members have city and guilds qualifications and extensive knowledge and understanding of Plumbing and Heating systems.

All our Installation technicians are certified to undertake the works in which they are engaged for Buidling Regulations Approvals.
